What to build

Type: AFK.

Upgrade Settings from a read model into safe dashboard controls for Stage Requirement Settings, provider health, schedules, Daily New-Article Limit, Technical Audit site settings, and approval boundaries. Changes must affect future runs without rewriting prior run history.

Acceptance criteria

• Josh can mark stages and adapters required or optional for future runs through the dashboard.
• Josh can edit safe tenant settings such as daily_new_article_limit, schedules, and Technical Audit site configuration.
• Provider health shows configured, skipped, failed, or unavailable state without exposing secrets.
• Prior run stage snapshots are unchanged when settings are edited.
• Tests are written first for updates, validation errors, redaction, and no-history-rewrite behavior.

Issue #24 completion audit

Implemented and verified:

• Added a dashboard settings update command that edits stage requirements, adapter requirements, and whitelisted tenant settings with validation and audit events.
• Added safe editing for daily_new_article_limit, Technical Audit site root/sitemap/crawl limit/priority URL patterns, and schedule settings.
• Added provider_health to the Settings dashboard with configured, skipped, failed, and unavailable states while omitting raw diagnostics, provider payloads, and secret-bearing error messages.
• Overlaid dashboard stage requirement settings onto future Growth Orchestrator runs so future stage snapshots use the edited required/optional mode.
• Preserved prior run stage and adapter snapshots when settings are edited.

Acceptance criteria audit:

• Josh can mark stages and adapters required/optional for future runs: met via submit_dashboard_settings_update and Growth Orchestrator stage setting overlay.
• Josh can edit safe tenant settings including daily article limits, schedules, and Technical Audit site configuration: met with whitelisted validation and sanitization.
• Provider health shows configured/skipped/failed/unavailable states without secrets: met via dashboard_settings provider_health and redaction tests.
• Prior run stage snapshots remain unchanged after settings edits: met and covered by tests for stage and adapter history.
• Tests first for updates, validation errors, redaction, and no-history-rewrite behavior: met.
